Julian Wong is a Managing Director at DanaShift, bringing eight years of experience to the middle-market sector. Since joining the firm in 2018, Julian has developed a robust M&A portfolio, executing transactions across a diverse array of industries including healthcare services, medical devices, information technology, business services, and consumer products. He is a FINRA-registered professional holding Series 79, 82, and 63 licenses
A key pillar of Julian’s work is his support of DanaShift projects within the animal health sector. He serves as a strategic advisor for high-complexity clients ranging from specialty and emergency veterinary hospitals to pharmaceutical innovators and diagnostics companies. His expertise is particularly valuable to Software as a Service (SaaS) players and veterinary payment platforms, where he bridges the gap between technical operational needs and financial objectives.
Julian’s unique strength lies in his deep technical foundation. Prior to his career in finance, he spent 11 years in the diagnostics industry. Beginning as a laboratory technician at bioMérieux, he eventually rose to the rank of Technical Manager at Food Safety Net Services. This decade of "boots-on-the-ground" experience allows him to provide an insider’s perspective when evaluating the operational health and growth potential of healthcare and life science businesses.
Julian earned his MBA in Finance from Chapman University, where he was recognized as an Argyros Graduate Fellow and inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma international business honor society.
