Growth Strategist | M&A Partner | Nutrition and Europe
Peggy Pleines advises founders, CEOs, and investors on strategic growth, M&A, and exit planning — bringing something most transaction advisors can't: 25 years of actual operator experience.
Based in Zurich, she serves as Regional Partner at DanaShift, focusing on M&A advisory in the Animal Health and Pet Care sectors. She works with founders and business owners to prepare for transactions, evaluate strategic options, and build the kind of value story that holds up in a deal process — covering not just the numbers, but brand strength, commercial scalability, category relevance, and leadership quality.
Her track record is built from both sides of the table. She founded and scaled Nash & Nunki AG, the exclusive German distributor for P&G's Eukanuba and IAMS brands, and built Nimbus 13 GmbH around an innovative go-to-market model in specialty pet nutrition. Before that, she held senior roles at Procter & Gamble and Elizabeth Arden in brand building, international market development, and commercial leadership.
Alongside her M&A work, Peggy developed Decide with Grace™, a decision-making methodology for leaders navigating high-stakes transitions. She brings it into her advisory practice to help founders think more clearly before, during, and after pivotal moments — not just about the transaction, but about what comes next.
Peggy holds a Lic. rer. pol. in Economics and Social Sciences from the University of Fribourg and works in English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian.
