Growth Strategist | M&A Partner | Nutrition and Europe
Peggy Pleines is a seasoned growth strategist, M&A partner, and high-stakes decision-making expert with over 25 years of operator experience. Based in Zurich, Switzerland, she serves as a strategic partner to founders and CEOs navigating major business shifts, scaling challenges, and exit planning. Her career is defined by a rare combination of deep corporate leadership at iconic brands and the hands-on grit of building three successful companies from the ground up.
As a Regional Partner at DanaShift and a member of the 7oceans M&A Alliance, Peggy specializes in mid-market deal advisory, primarily within the consumer brands and pet health industries. Unlike traditional advisors, she brings an operator’s perspective to every transaction, focusing on pre-sale value creation and double-digit revenue growth to ensure founders negotiate from a position of strength. She has successfully managed transactions ranging from $5M to $70M, leveraging a trusted cross-border network to deliver strategic outcomes for her clients.
Peggy’s entrepreneurial track record includes founding and scaling Nash & Nunki AG, which she grew to $144MM in revenue and 48 employees as the exclusive German distributor for Procter & Gamble’s flagship pet brands, Eukanuba and IAMS. She also founded Nimbus 13 GmbH, where she disrupted the specialty pet nutrition market with an innovative go-to-market model, and My Ladybird Enterprise AG, her global growth strategy practice. Before her entrepreneurial ventures, she held senior leadership roles at Elizabeth Arden, where she managed $40MM in annual revenue across four countries, and Procter & Gamble.
A central pillar of her work is Decide with Grace™, a proprietary executive decision-making methodology designed for leaders operating under intense pressure. Peggy shares these principles as an international keynote speaker, providing concrete frameworks for high-performing teams to outpace the competition. She holds a degree in Economics and Social Sciences (Lic. rer. pol.) from the University of Fribourg and is fluent in English and German, with working knowledge of French, Spanish, and Italian
